Every household has four or five controls it touches daily and a long tail it touches twice a year. If the opening screen does not put that first group within a tap, people fall back to the wall switch, and an expensive system quietly becomes ornamental.

So the design starts with observation rather than with software. We work out what your household actually reaches for, put exactly that on the first view, and file everything else behind a route that will make sense on the day you finally need it.

We start from how you move through the house, not from a template. You see a draft early and we walk it with you live, changing it while you watch rather than disappearing for a fortnight and presenting something finished.

Then it gets used for a week, which is the only real test. The things that annoyed you in practice get fixed before handover, because a dashboard that reviews well and lives badly is a failure with good manners.

A wall tablet is the difference between a system you own and an app you have to remember to open. Where a cable can reach, the screen is powered permanently over that cable, so it never goes flat and never needs charging.

Placement is decided on site. It goes where the household already gathers, at a height everyone can reach, angled away from the glare that would otherwise make it unreadable at exactly the time of day you use it most.
